This video was part of a presentation at the Wisconsin ACEC 2021 Civil 3D Workshop.

In this video, Seiler Design Solutions will demonstrate using LiDAR data collected from am sUAS and various programs from the Autodesk AEC Collection to process this data, including Infraworks, ReCap and Civil 3D. We’ll extract various components such as ground surface data, linear features and point objects to create an existing Civil 3D model to use for preliminary design.

We will then show a preliminary proposed site model created using 2D geometry in Civil 3D 2022 and the new Grading Optimization Tool. We’ll then take the proposed model to Autodesk Infraworks for a quick presentation model.
