Course Description
Prerequisites:Basic understanding of survey or topographic mapping terminology and practices. Basic CAD and geometry skills and an understanding of general enterprise sUAV operation and terminology.
Expectations:In this course we cover an overview of mission planning techniques to capture photography for the creation of 3D models and 2D orthophotos using Pix4D Mapper. Mission planning and collection techniques will vary depending on the system used and remote control mission software. The course will also cover the basics of using ground control (GCP) and check points to validate your data.
